I am getting out of Joe collecting and am offering the savvy collectors here the last, top shelf items I have. I am not an expert, just a collector so I will try to describe them in detail. These are no reserve auctions with low starting bids. I feel they will bring in price what the market will bear. The marine/box were bought at a large vintage toy auction by me about 8 years ago. Dog tag and paperwork came from e-Bay. This is a nice double TM box, the pictures say it all, no surprises here. Box top has top right litho corner pull, creas down right side of top and corner wear on both bottom corners and top left corner. Pics show it all. Bottom is near perfect hand stamped NOV 12 1964. No retaping on either box. Uniform is marked Hasbro Japan. Bottom pant snap is loose. These appear to be different, but a good color match. Shirt snaps shiney and tite. Pants still have "inspector ? "tag sewn in marked 11-2. Pants a little darker and has some wrinkle, shirt still fiarly crisp. Boots show play wear, still have some shine, lite scuffs, no rips/tears/splits. Bottoms are kinda thin, rt. one has a thin "hump". Papers include both decal sheets plus what is shown in pics. The Joe is a Patent Pending Made in USA brown hair/brown eyes. He appears to have been never played with. all rivets 100%. Body shiney, no appearent scuffs, but the dreaded stress cracks got him! Left ankle, both knees, lft. forearm @ elbow. The rt bicep is pretty loose from 2 cracks. Still strung tite! Head shows lite left eyebrow paint, small hair scuff in front of left ear, small scuffs on top back and bottom back and bottom middle behind rt. ear. Has a "mole" below left nostril, bareley noticeable, maybe in plastic. Has big feet. Hands are shiney and perfect, no wear at all. Too much detail? I'm trying to be as accurate as possible and want no suprises. He almost ended up being the Green Beret I'm keeping til I took his clothes off. I will be having 4 auctions for major sets and a few for individual items. All are extremely nice pieces unless noted. Shipping will be $8.95 USPS Priorty Mail. I will combine shipping whenever possible with USPS flat rate boxes. I accept Paypal, Money orders and personal checks. Checks will require 10 days to clear before shipment. Concerned? Check out my e-Bay rating, name, gotnogame. Please e-mail any questions well before end of auction. International bidders, please do not bid on these auctions. I will only ship to US lowere 48.
